Hi,

Has anyone experienced side effects from stopping the BC Pill? I have been off the pill since Oct. 22.

Since then I have had cramps, (3-4) a about 1 and half weeks ago. Sore lower back, not getting any better now. And my breast are a little sore. Not very bad. That has started about a week ago. If I was still on the pill my period would be coming next week sometime, about Mon-Tuesday. And I have had all these signs for almost 2 weeks now. But the Cramping has gone pretty much now!

Could these be side effects from stopping the pill. Before I started the pill my cycle was always very regular, with very light/no cramps. And always on time!

Thanks

Highly likely. How long were you on the pill. The pill tricks the body into thinking it is pregnant by hormones. So, if the body is pregnant then it can't get pregnant, that's how they work. So, the body goes through some transformation doesn't it? That's why you need to give it time to get back on track without the hormones and just natural. You'll feel better soon. Now the period may be worse because the pill makes periods light and short. So, the years you've been on them your body has changed and you may find all of that different. Good luck.

i have never had side effects from stopping the pill in matter of fact, i got pregnant while taking the pill twice.
if you have had unprotected sex during this time. chances are you are pregnant if you haven't had your period since oct. 22. i new i was pregnant with my second child before i even took a test and when i did take a test it was positive. also after stopping pill did you have a period? if you didn't something is wrong because when i stopped my pill three times now. i bleed for about a week after words. if your worried about it i would ask your doctor.
