I do stuff like that all of the time. Sometimes, I search my car and think I have forgotten something important. I go home for it, only to discover it really was in my car...It's frustrating. :)

I have, and I have gone on a bus trip, from Maine to Buffalo, NY, leave my car at a park and ride, and wonder about having locked the car. I had 5 days to worry about it and wonder if my car would be there when I got back. Or find it the way I left it.

Yes... oh yessss... i hate that more than anything. I do that with my flat iron too. My coffee pot. You name it. I have gotten to where i have to wrap a rubber band around my finger before i leave so i know that i have double checked everything just so i won't drive all the way back home.

I don't rush back home. I tell myself it is locked and everything will be okay.

that happens to me and my mom almost every single time. we drive about half an hour and she suddenly stops the car and asked me if i had locked the door. and then i try desperately to try and think back whether i did or not... and then we drive back only to find that it was lock.
