I only wear them when I'm wearing pants that will show a pantyline. I personally like hotpant panies or boyshort panties. They are more flattering.

People wear things for different reasons, all of them personal to the wearer. For me, I only wear g-strings or thongs because i love the way they look and feel. They're the next best thing to being naked.
Other girls may wear them for different reasons, and some may not like them at all. It really comes down to a matter of individual choice.

it's about self esteem.
most of the time, when a girl wears thongs to work she knows no one else will see it. but she knows what shes wearing and she feels hot. it puts the girl in a good mood, and feeling confident. this way, no matter what goes wrong with her day, she has something there to make her feel better. knowing she looks hot puts her in a better mood!

No panty lines! Some girls also feel sexier when they wear thongs but I prefer granny panties. :>

girls wear thongs to hide their pantyline from showing in clothes. i don't like them though

its sexy and more attractive than panty lines, and my boyfriend loves it when I wear them because I have a real sweet A $ $!

Oh Yeah We wear them cuz they're comforable! (sarcastic) Wut do you think we wear them for, when we wear them we feel confident, we feel that every man in the states is watching the rear end, and that panty line is just an excuse for 13 year olds!
