Bake sales-ask friends and family to make things for it

Garage sales-get people to donate items

Silent auction-Get businesses to donate items and then take bids on them. Who ever has the highest bid gets the item for that amount.(we raised over $3000 doing this for the fire department)
If this is for school do it at a school event.

Car wash-get friends and family to help.

Do a raffle-Gas card/handmade quilt/something of value

Walk people dogs.

Get donations from friends and family.

Businesses love to donate gift cards and/or their reject items, especially when you remind them that you'll provide them with a tax deduction form (I'm assuming it's either for church or school and both of those are tax exempt). The have a slilent auction for the items. I did this about 8 years ago and eventhough I was only supposed to raise $1200, I raised $4500!!!

Silent Auction (get businesses to donate gift cards & items), a yard sale (get members to all bring things), candy from Costco or Sams (buy & resell it at work/school), car wash, paint addresses on the curbs of people's homes...

Good Luck!

Have a subsidized experience of a few form, I did a subsidized horse experience for charity as quickly as the place we've been sponsore to experience all day in fancy gown. It raised lots. subsidized activities like shaving heads or working and so on are often somewhat uncomplicated.

Rummage- garage sales. You can ask for the clutter of your friends and families. This way you've got their spaces cleaned. They've probably been thinking how to dispose them. And you can turn those trash into cash.

By yourself?

Garage sale, car wash, go door to door and offer to wash peoples windows outside. That is a job that never gets done and people would be willing to pay you to do. Walk-a-thon, bowl-a-thon, bike-a-thon.

1) Call around--you'll be surprised what would happen if you ask people for donations. ALWAYS CALL--a no will not hurt you.

2) Write letters to any and everyone, including businesses--you may be surprised
