I am 19 years old and 4 1'2 months pregnant, I want to know if this situation would make me a snob:
I took the Grey Hound bus and it took me 7 hours to get from one place to another, I was visiting my bf. When I got there my bf decided that he wanted me to meet a few of his friends before we went back to his house. We went to their house and said hi and everything. They were smoking and I don't like smoke especially now that I am pregnant. After about 5 min. of sitting there talking about nothing, I asked my bf if we could go home now. I juat got off a long bus trip, I was really hungry, and tired. I just wanted to relax. Does not wanting to stay there longer to get to know his new friends make me snobby?
He said I didn't want to stay because I am snobby, but I was tired and hungry. No matter what I say he won't believe me. It hurts. I can also can be a very shy person.

No, if what you say is all true, i dont think you acted like a snob at all. He should realize your condition and what you did that day.

I don't think this is snobby at all. You should have left in the first place cause of the smoke and how it can be harmful to the baby. Also he should have never put you in a position like that it is unfair to you and uncaring of him. Your eating for two and that's priority and after not eating and a 7 hour trip it can be very hard on the baby and you. I think your not snobby at all i think he is being self centred and needs to grow up and be a man and take better care of you.

not very nice of him to expect you to stay there with his friends, knowing you are pregnant, and had just rode 7 hours on a bus to see him. No no one but him thinks you are a snob. Seems like it's all about him. Better straighten him out now or it will only get worse.

Sounds like you got pregnant with the wrong person. What kind of real man would treat a girl that is carring his child like that? Let alone have you sit on a bus for seven hours??? Why isn't he coming to see you? He should be making way way more effort than he is. Sorry for your luck.

NO. If you're pregnant, then don't kill the baby with second-hand smoking! That's not snobby! That's taking care of a new life!

Sounds like you interrupted something. You are pregnant. He should have (in my opinion) been concerned about you and your (is it his?) baby and not wanting you to meet his friends. You are not a snob for wanting to leave.

i feel bad for you, he is a piece of crap, u took a bus for 7 hrs, youre pregnant and he cant even make you feel happy or comfortable? be prepared to take him to court for child support because this is the kind of guy you have

Oh sweety...
My advise is to find a church or civic group that your interested in and seek the guidance of a successful woman. Learn from her and emulate her attitudes and actions.
Love and protect your child from those in that room.
