I'm filling this application, and after I wrote my address it asks me In care of the next line and I didn't know what to put there

that's a term used if you are using someone else's address. IF its not your legal address.

Sometimes when parents send letters to students at school, the address might say care of or c/o for short on the second line. I have a great great aunt in a nursing home that does the same thing. I put Jane Doe then c/o XYZ Nursing Home on the second line. It allows the post office to deliver to the correct building first and internal mail sorters will get the letter to your box.

you would put your next of kin, your mom or father or who ever is the closest living relative. if you are living with someone and thae mail is in their name you would put in care of the person you are living with.
