No! It is euthanize and don't use that. You should say that the choice is that of a greater force and that plugging the plug is taking away the possibility of recovery.Since we do not know what the future holds for any of us, if we pull the power to someones future we take that away from them.Hope this helps.

the word would be euthanize, and no euthanasia is helping someone die, ie. putting a dog to sleep with a shot. so euthanasia has nothing to do with pulling the plug on someone, "the plug" is just artificial life support, a machine to keep their heart beating, or to keep them breathing
so if you are writing a paper on this, i hope i could help you out a bit....good luck

The word fits. But it should be euthanize them. Euthanasia is the practice, euthanize is the verb form of the word.

I take this it to mean you want to say "Pull the Pug" with different words. How about They shouldn't terminate people's lives by removing them from life support systems."

I think the verb form may be euthanize, but this is not a very persuasive word. better to say "destroy" or "kill" or "Murder" or "execute" or something that sounds bad so they will be less likely to do it. why sugar coat it is you are against it?
