You have met a real dreamboat! Ooo la la! You have a date that will probably involve a lot of walking and is not formal, but the dress code is above casual. Would you wear a fairly new pair of shoes that really looked "hot and snazzy" or would you wear your older plainer shoes that would still be acceptable but unimpressive?

You are not going for a walk on this date, it will just involve a lot of walking, like the parking lot is very far from the dinner club. Maybe there is a lot of dressy dancing, for example....

It depends what you are wearing, if you arer dressing ase ase (spanish for so-so) formal then get a nice pair of dress soes and in the shoe section there will be gel pads, pick the one that is soft enough and buy it, on the date brind a small bottle of shoeshine if you dont wanna get your shoes dirty, and excuse yourself to the bathroom whe the black turns brown. The shoes will be comfortable yet formal. YES, and clean. If you are dressing dude-ish just throw on some sneakers, try to get off all the dirt by wiping it off with a napkin and buy the gel pads for more comfort. I hope you have a good time on ur date, enjoy yourself and be youreslf!

Lemme tell ya about MY really nice shoes. They are black, button up the front (with hidden elastic loops- they LOOK buttoned up) with a 3/4 inch heel and rubber soles, so they feel like sneakers, but are really dressy. I use gel insoles with Dr. Scholl's 1 0z (or 2- or whatever ounce they are) Miracle Insoles on top of that. Walking on a cloud!!! My feet used to really get to burning by the end of a four-five hour gig. So I took measures!
Those "?-oz Miracle" insoles are really great. they conform to your feet.

You must go out and buy shoes for this occasion. The bottom line is they must match your outfit. At the same time you don't want to walk around in pain. As long as it matches what your wearing your date will probably be looking into your eyes, not your shoes.
