First, that's not true - they won't double, it doesn't work that way. Shaving can make the ends rough and that's not a pleasant feeling if someone rubs against you.
If they are stiff like a man's facial hair, you can simply pluck them out with tweezers like you would with your eyebrows (my mom get's them since she's going through menopause).
If they are fine and are just dark, a facial bleach will lighten them so they aren't noticeable.
More expensive route, electrolysis will permanently remove the hairs.

I have the same problem and would love to hear some other answers. I generally tweeze, it gets the hair from the root.... but it hurts a lot. I've been wondering about electrolysis or laser hair removal, but I'm chicken! Waxing is another possibility.

There is a web site that gives a test to see if your hormones are off. it's called hormonrprofile.com. I know you're on birth control so, I don't know how it'll help you. I do know they sell a hormone cream someplace for facial hair to keep it from growing. No site for that though.google hormone for facial jair on women and see what you get. Shaving makes them courser and tweezing lasts longer.

Pluck. I have two that are determined to keep trying to grow in, I just pluck them as soon as the tweezers can grab hold of them.

you could use a depilatory cream, but it might cause some skin irritation - you could also use one of those little hair trimmers. shaving with a razor is not a good idea. i would suggest getting rid of the hair regardless.

Since you have only three hairs, you can pluck. Quick and easy.

If you only have 3 hairs, electolysis might be a good idea otherwise wax them...don't use a depilatory cream as I've heard that will increase your hair growth...

you shouldnt pluck because they come back thicker and rougher the next time. just use a faceial hair bleach. it will lighten them without the pain or the worry of stubble in like 2-3 months
