Yes. You are legally purchasing that song so it is yours to do what you want with it. You can burn it to a CDR or upload it to your iPod

RE:
Can you burn music you buy from Itunes?
If I buy a cd from the itunes music store can I burn those purchased songs to my own mix cd's. Is this a piracy trap? I don't want to pay for the music and then not be able to include it on playlist cds

Yes, you can burn them to cds. As I understand it buying an mp3 format music (itunes) and then putting on a cd format for the purposes of listening in your car, etc. is not a problem. It would only be illegal if you made copies to sell, therefore making a profit. I'm no attorney though, just don't get caught selling mixtapes out of your trunk : )

If you buy a CD, the songs are yours. You can burn any and all CDs.
I have ITunes and used to burn it all the time until my computer rejected ITunes. Thanks iTunes version 7!

Yeah, once you buy the songs on iTunes, they're yours to burn onto CD's, upload on Mp3 players, etc.
iTunes is awesome, you should really go for it! :-)

you can burn it. iTunes has protected AAC files that be copied up to seven times (regardless of what playlist it is on, the maximum is seven times in total) and cannot be converted to mp3 format.
