Where can you send songs you have written to make sure they are copy written safely?

Register them with the Copyright Office at the Library of Congress. Visit www.loc.gov
Then you can send them to any music publishing company after they have been approved as copyrights.

Actually you do not have to send them anywhere! All you have to do is to put a date on it, and make sure you have multiple copies (dated). it helps if others are aware that you have them, but really you don't have to send them anywhere.
