Cranberry juice helps prevent urinary tract infections, it has nothing to do with your vagina. Yoghurt promotes the growth of good bacteria in the vagina and everywhere else in your body. It only works if it says live and active cultures on the container.

Like everyone says, cranberry juice is good for UTIs. The reason is that it helps prevent the bacteria from sticking to the walls of the urinary tract.
The yogurt is good because it contains "good" bacteria. These bacteria help to keep the yeast in check. If you don't have a taste for yogurt, you can buy the bacteria in pill form. I take acidophilus, which also helps aid in digestion and general health. That way you get the same benefits sans the sugar! It can be found in the refrigerator section of your (organic?) health food store.

Both have a medical benefit if used correctly. Drinking cranberry juice is good for flushing the kidneys and will help reduce the incidents of UTI's. Yogurt, has beneficial bacteria in it and is good for the digestive system.
I would not suggest douching with either, or putting anything into the vagina.

Drinking cranberry juice and yogurt are to helpful to prevent urinary tract infections, they have nothing to do with the vagina. The best way to stay healthy "down there" is to keep the area clean and dry, wear cotton underpants that allow the skin to breathe, and always use a condom when having sex.
