I guess it depends on whether your in high school or college and again, what subject your debate project is for. Some ideas for debate could be "do correctional institutions actually correct the individuals or is it just lip service?" "Are video games educating our children properly or are they creating violence in children?" Just think about the things that are issues today and the possible desired outcome and you should be able to come up with a good debate topic. Good luck on the debate.

Choose something that you're passionate about. It's much easier to debate something when you really care about it. For example, last year in my Public Speaking class I debated whether or not the "morning-after" pill should be sold over-the-counter or not. Also, choose something that is currently happening in our country. Don't debate something that will never happen, or has been debated forever. Topics to stay away from: religion, abortion, politics. Too cliche, and you'll end up offending someone. Good luck!

Why did the democrats win...no really why did they?

Is it because we know anything about what they stand for.....all righty then, name one thing one of them....who won...stand for?

yikes...gulp...yiikes...nothing! Help!!!

or did they win by default...because we're objecting to continuing the war in IRAQ......wouldn't that be a crime if they got in just because we hated something...and we really don't know if they will cost us tons of money....and what if the

terrorists are happy that the democrats won?

Oh, don't get me started......LOL
