Need a book for school.What website can I go to read a free version of it?

I don't think you can. The most you would get is a exert of it and that is it. Books are copyrighted material and you generally will not find it for free online. You would have to pay for it.

If its a textbook they should be a link listed on it or do a yahoo search. If its liturature(English Class) you can get ebooks but you may have to pay for them.
