I think War was cooler. The songs like "low rider", "spill the wine", "cisco kid" are really good. Low rider is used in the movie "Gone in 60 seconds" and is covered many times over by bands such as Korn, and Exodus. Jefferson Airplane became Jefferson Starship, then Starship. I really don't care for any of the three incarnations of Jefferson Airplane.

I think War. They have had a lot more remakes, which is a good indication that your music stands the test of time. And Jefferson Airplane, although golden, is easily confused with Jefferson Starship, which sucked royally. So based on that.. yea I would still go with War.

DUDE JEFFERSON AIRPLANE RULES WHICH IS BETTER THAN BEATLES, AND ALL BRITISH INVASION BANDS!. (except for Rolling Stones which are good too.) anyways, they are a very good psychedelic band especially the song "White Rabbit" which is my favorite.
