If I make a general comment I would say New spreads....

This totally has to do with the situation, all 3 are correct.

1) spreads: Is to talk about how it always happens, for example: You know how it is, juicy gossip spreads really fast!
2) spread: This is when we are talking in the simple past, for example: Gossip spread all around the high school about it yesterday.
3) was spreading: That it was happening but not anymore, for example: The Queen told her son, the prince that the news was spreading really fast on his wedding, so he had to hurry up with the preparations, before they all knew and came.

oxox,
Little Cowy

p.s. Hope it helps, I tried to simplify it! :)!!!

The whole sentence will still have problems even after you put a verb in the sentence. The correct verb depends on the context - what are you trying to say -- both 1 and 3 would work...and 2 would work if you're talking in the past tense... but no matter what, you still have a problem.

"Very fast" is an adjective. If you want to describe the action of spreading, you need an adverb, so "very fast" is incorrect.

Depends on the context. Usually it would be 1.

ADDED:
The people who have given me thumbs down are idiots. Watch this:

1. "With the advent of the internet, news spreads very fast."

2. "News of the outcome of the game spead very fast."

3. "News of the defeat was spreading very fast."

So you see, it depends on the context, just like I said.

the respond is discovered interior the Christians. whilst they're born lower back of the Holy Spirit that are meant to return backpedal right here to make clean Lucifer's Kingdom that's in this component of the go and additionally wide-unfold through fact the dominion of Darkness. If all the Christians interior the U. S. would only shop their mouths close and only bypass outdoors and component east previous the Republican wing and say we are from the dominion of Christ in Heaven, each u . s . would have "easy" from the dominion of Christ. without it each u . s . sits in non secular darkness with faiths and religions they desire gets them into Heaven! DAhhh! the only place in Heaven is the invisible Kingdom of Christ and it is the 1st and basically place it is interior the east and previous all flesh that descends from the womb. Lucifer's Kingdom is down and to the west of our Democrat wing for all who desire to stay of course in this earth without or with a "faith" that does no longer come from the dominion of Christ. there is largely one ARK that leads east and up into the Heavenly Kingdom and he's stated as the Holy Spirit or the ARK of the hot Covenant!
