Peri : You are obviously hurt - by a guy ! Remember; all guys are not the same ... it's just that there are more a**holes around today than there used to be. In today's society and culture, the trend is "anything goes" ... this makes people prone to being used by others i.e. scams, lieing, cheating on one another, thefts, drugs ... etc.- hurt prevails ! Guys tend to think girls are just like "one of the boys", failing to realize for the most part, that girls emotional needs are different - totally. It is more akin to ignorance not stupidity ... at least for most guys. Smart guys need to read books on relationships i.e. "collaborative genius"(how to have a good relationship, books). This is NOT what guys usually read; therefore, text book smart - life skill dumb!

They usually need some good socialization training. My husband is extremely smart, but for a long time he just didn't "get" what was needed to make the relationship work. Finally things are on the right path. He's a lot more sensitive and uses his head when it comes to our marriage.

And i am still amazed how much of a damm blonde he is..
(and he is not a blonde!!)
I told him just because you married one doesn't mean you have to act like one...No they don't ever really change or mature in relationships. They just add a new spin on to the old stuff.

I certainly wish I knew but I don't and you are so-o-o right. Some guys are absolute geniuses in one way and astoundingly pathetic when it comes to personal relationships.
