Earlier today I downloaded sharebear and then I uninstalled it and it changed my homepage on firefox to the sharebear google and took it off of cox.net. I downloaded spybot and took everything off and now it still wont let me change my homepage back to cox.net. Why wont it let me change my homepage back and how can I fix it? I tried going to the internet options and changing it but it says that cox.net is the homepage but when I go to the homepage it is on google.sharebear.com. Please HELP!!!

physically type your browser address in when you start the change...about blank did this to me one time and it drove me nuts.I also went to the spacebar and back spaced one letter at a time and low and behold a window pops up with all the different choices for your web browser,click on the one you want when this happens

check on comtrol panel...mine did this once before also, if its spyware/adware you may need to completely unistall and delete anything left in program files folder

Be sure to clcik "Apply" or "Ok" at the bottom when you make the changes
