Today my 8 y/o daughter was watching the Disney Channel at 2:30 p.m. The show was The Proud Family. It is a cartoon. She does not usually watch this program, but it was what was on at the time.

I saw and heard this personally. On the program, 3 girls were having a conflict with another girl at school. One of the girls said "She's a bi-atch" (pronounced bee-atch) which is the teen slang version of b/tch.

The Disney Channel said bi-atch to our precious children at 2:30 in the afternoon!

Thanks Susanne, that was the link I needed. I wrote to them. I am sure nothing will change. We are going to have to block the channel. Too many "sexy" 12 y/o girls on most of the other programs anyway.

There are a great many things on Disney Channel that I have found objectionable...and because of this my family no longer watches the Channel.
I have found that one of the best children's programming is on Noggin...or if that is too young...you may want to try some Nick programming...however, you have to carefully monitor that as well.
This is a link that you may want to explore:

Good luck...hope that this helps.
