I think why people do things like that is because they are scared to be who they really are for fear of being thrown of "normal" society. All it is, is insecure people trying to be the opposite of gay to try and throw people off. I mean come on, you know how many bashers I knew in high school that I saw at gay clubs a few years later?

Yeah, some people do this. Its kinda creepy, sickoish. I have way more respect for an out bi or gay guy than a closet case who portrays himself as homophobic and tries to lead a straight life. Pretty much the scum of the Earth as fair as I'm concerned. You can only deny who/what you are for so long...it will eventually blow up in their face!

I say you call them out on it, and rat them out if they have a significant other of the opposite sex. Downlow stuff is not cool, not fair!

Most everyone knows that those who protest the loudest against gays are usually just big old closet cases... ever heard the saying, "Me thinks he protesth too much?"

They think that if they talk really loud and ugly about something, then folks will never, ever, ever have any inkling that this is something they secretly covet.

Closet Case: derogatory term for someone who is homosexual but refuses to admit it to himself or to associate with other homosexuals. Usually he publicly and vigorously denounces homosexuals, both in an attempt to camouflage his sexual preference and as a reflection of the inner conflict he has with his own desires.

Although I disagree with their use of the term "preference" most folks use it the same as "orientation" and make no distinction.

Come out, come out, wherever you are!
