Foreignors can legally come to America without knowing English. But they will get by much easier if they do learn English.

I'm not racist or anything, lets get that straight and out in the open first. But I totally agree. When people come into the US, they need to learn and respect English as the main language in this country, and not expect the American Citizens to learn their language instead. I come from an area where there has been a huge increase in the amount of hispanics and so few of them know english, that the major grocery stores in the area now have English and Spanish anouncements. The next county over just abolished a law that would have made it illegal to have street signs in English Only, and would have required all street signs to be posted in Spanish and English. The more and more the US accomodates for those that don't know English, the more and more its disrespecting its own English-speaking citizens.

learning the language of a country you are planning to become a citizen of is more of a benefit for yourself. because when it comes down to it your the one that will have to be able to communicate with the people of this country.
