MAJOR? Biology, chemistry or pre-med, becuase you have to become a medical doctor thru medical school to then specialize in plastic and cosmetic surgery, so you need an undergrad degree suitable for a future doctor.

you will have to be just like any other surgion. You have to start with your basic sciences and course work. To become a dr you really only need three things to start out with. You need to do well on your MCATs, you need A's in your sciences, and you need to show your commitment so you can get into a good med school. You show your commitment by working in the medical field or by going to another country to do work with people there. This is baasically just to look good on a resume but it is necessary. Those are the things you need to focus on right now. Once those are out of the way you can focus on med school with focus on surgury and cosmetics. Good luck, it's not the easiest.

Besides biology/science courses to prepare you for medical school, it will also help to be comfortable with computer technology. By the time you graduate, the technical equipment will probably be more advanced for imaging, planning, and monitoring cosmetic surgery. So keep up with the latest technology at all times.
If you plan to own and operate your own office someday, it will help to have experience in office management, financial records, etc. So I would look for opportunities to work in the type of setting or for the type of businesspeople you can learn this from.

You need to be a doctor and go to medical school after your bachelors degree. I would contact your local state university...they will have the specifics.

Pre-med. You will need a bachelor's degree and then medical school with residency based on your specialty.
