I had my daughter breach until 36 weeks it was hard for her to turn, as she got half way then would stop, It was possible for my husband and I to help her turn once she was half way, just edging her until she could just slip in the right spot. She was born 5 days after she turned. So good luck, if bub stays breach you will need to book in for a cesarean either next week or the week after to stop natural labour as these days they will not allow a natural breached birth. Good luck.

Ok, I didn't have a breech baby to begin with, it was the opposite- he was fine until I went into labor.... then he was head down, nose up instead of nose down like he had been. Once you go into labor, they will rotate you into many different positions- it was a little hard for me because I had the epidural... I had to use all the weight in my arms to hold up my entire body... so I did that position a lot where I was on my knees and elbows, and they just kept switching positions to try to get him to turn... however he didn't end up turning... I could have had him natural, however, he wasn't descending at all... so they did a c-section- turned out, he was 9lbs 10oz lol... a big shock to us all!
I think a lot of it is up to the baby- they can and sometimes do turn at the very last minute. So don't get too stressed... your baby can still turn as mine did- only in a worse position.
Goodluck and congrats!

apparently it is possible, my bub was breech from 32 weeks and never turned despite having a chinese medical treatment which is apparently quite successful. The midwife also offered me cvs where they try and turn the bub, it is apparently successful 50% of the time. i decided not to go through with it and had an elective caesar. all was fine and once you hold that bub nothing else matters, she is now 8 months old and the way she came into the world is utterly irrelevant as she is healthy happy and gorgeous. good luck :)

I think it may depend on what kind of breech he is. I think a butt-first baby has a better chance of turning than a feet-first baby.
I've heard of a breech baby turning as late as early in labor.
Keep your appointments and try not to worry (one "duh" for you, the other "duh" for me... no expectant mom would break their appointment, and it's impossible not to worry).
If necessary, they'll probably schedule a c-section. This is not the worst case scenario most women consider it to be. In the end, the deed is done, you still get to bring a baby home, which is the goal of delivery, be it natural, medicated, induced, vaginal or c-section.
I think trying to maneuver the baby to get him to turn is considered these days to be a pretty futile attempt, since it almost never works, and if it does, it's usually temporary.
But, yeah, I've heard of a baby turning that late.
Best of luck to you!

I had the same trouble with my last child. She kept turning and flipping until I had my c-section. She was breech one week, then the next she wasnt. I had to have a c-section not only b/c she was breech, but b/c it was a repeat. Good luck!!
