Hi! I need help on a report that I can't find any information on. I need to know what kills the population the most. This includes cigarettes, people who die from second-hand smoking, drugs, car accidents (including drunk driving), dog bites, surgerys that went wrong,and guns. I don;t really need any detailed information on these but that will be ok if there is. If anyone can find a link that will led me to this that will be great. If there is any type of graph, that will be splendid. This does not include terrorist threats and other out of the country themes. If anyone can please help me I will be very greatful. Thank you to every one who answered and helped me out.

See if you can find a website from the surgeon general of the US;
I'm quite sure there are statistics kept on this stuff. Also, the americal medical Association would surely have stats and a graph, i betcha. Isn't there a United States Bureau of Statistics?
I think so - good luck.

See if you can get hold of a copy of "Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Reports" - possibly the most depressing magazine in circulation. It lists a statistical breakdown of what people died of from week to week in the US. Your local college library probably gets it.
