Anyone else see the stages of Plato's Allegory of the Cave in the movie "The Island?"?

I'm writing a paper on it, and I see a great connection. But i'm having trouble getting my words together. What do you guys think?

i think that you've definitely got some material to work with...especially in comparing Plato to the first part of the movie. there are definitely some similar concepts: two worlds with the better "real" world being the unknown, the "prophet" figure, the ignorant "cave-dwellers," etc. do you intend to work in the conclusion of the movie? if i remember correctly it was mostly an extended chase scene that could be somewhat difficult to compare to Plato, primarily because of the fact that they were being chased not by those in the "cave," or in this case "island," but those keeping them there. (it's been a while since I've seen it though and I could be off) anyway, i think that you've made a clever connection, and wish you best of luck on your paper.
