I am a 29 yr old guy. I'm a pretty athletic looking attractive guy, but I've always been shy, especially around women I'm attracted to. So I'm single quite a bit of the time. When I DO meet a woman I like and we start dating I tend to obsess a bit over where the relationship is heading if the dates have gone well. The main reason is that I know that if it doesn't work out with this one, I might not find another date or mate for a long period of time. Is this a common problem. I seem to have run off at least 2 potential girlfriends in the last year and a half because of my over eagerness to find and keep a relationship. Is this a common problem? How can I keep my mind off my crush long enough not to seem too eager?

you just have to stop rushing into a relationship, or rushing the relationship to become a serious one right away. Although in my opinion if you found "the one" who you wanted to spend the rest of your life with, then the relationship tends to move faster than you think. It's just my opinion because I dated my husband for 7 months and I got married to him.

29 yrs old, looks like your ready for marriage, trying to find a girl who's not messing around and looking what you are looking for. In my opinion your luck isn't there yet or your finding the wrong girls or looking in the wrong place. You need to start looking for girls who are looking for a long-term relationship. Like you are 29 right and I'm sure you date girls 21 up to your age I'm guessing mostly are pretty young and not looking for a relationship. They just find a crush and feel the "romance' once it's gone that's all. Basically look for girls who are looking for a relationship instead of a little "crush love" for a short period of time. Best of Luck to Ya!

Personally i kinda like that, i want to make sure my guy is interested in me. But i wouldnt like it if he kept asking me all the time. Just like when he is taking me home, just ask something like "did you have fun".
