I am niether republican nor democrat. I am for best choice. But I am not surprised that the gas prices are on the rise again now that the elections are over. Republicans will be out of a job soon and need the profits to sustain their lifestyle.

Hopefully the Democrat leaders realize that they need to seek the cooperation of the Republican senators, and retain the cooperation of some of their newly elected centrist senators like Jim Webb and Bob Casey, Jr.

If the Democrats bring good, reasonable issues to the table, there can be some good laws passed in the next two years. If they present excessive left-wing proposals, they will be blocked in the legislature or vetoed by the President, and they won't have the votes to override the veto.

Yes, yes, yes! We've had enough nonsense from the Republicans during their 12-year control of the Senate! And look at the oversight-gone under their rule! With the Democrats set to take power in January, we'll have oversight once again!!! And I can't wait for them to get the wheels in motion for Bush's impeachment proceedings!!!

Be careful what you wish for. I'm stunned that even in victory the dems manage to cultivate their anger. Just in the past few days you see what they are planning? Watch the taxes go up, the jidhadists will be celebrating, no more building a wall on our Mex. border, ,judicial activists blocking any conservatives from serving on the courts and no chance of oil drilling in our own country. Just makes one feel so proud.

Yes.Not because I think that the Democrats can do a much better job, but Bush and his yes-man has to realize that there is an urgent need for changing the politics of the White House. The people spoken!!!!.
