Yup. For some reason I can tune the republicans out, for the most part. But, the democrats seem to be much more abrasive and annoying.

I sure am. I think alot of others are too. But until we decide to do something about, something big that is, nothing will change.
What we truely need is complete reorganization around the way our political processes work. People shouldn't be elected to office based on how much money they can spend on TV adds. People should be elected based on merit, desire and ability. Wouldn't it be great if elected positions were more treated more like a duty rather than an end all be all goal for someones life?
How about this, everyone takes a test when they turn 18. Then every 5 years they are given another test. The people who score in the top 10% are elegible for election. Those that want to run can, they are give the same amount of money, (tv and radio ads are banned), they can travel around the country and debate their opponents. The voters can then pick the best candidate. They can serve for 2 terms and must retire at 65. They cannot receive a pension for this and they cannot parlay their elected position into a private industry job that has anything to do with politics or governmental affairs. Of course nothing like this will ever happen, the people who make the laws are the ones who benefit from the current system. We will have to suffer through with what we have, however poor that is.

i do no longer see a hill beans of distinction between 80% of republicans and democrats. For all of the dems that whined and complained approximately Bush's spending, they could be scared to dying that Obama has spent additional income 70 days, than Bush did in his first 4 years. Republicans are actually not putting up any street blocks, and that i'm hoping that come next 12 months, republicans and reagan democrats vote for conservative or reasonable applicants. the government isn't any distinctive than you and that i. in case you get into financial concern, you won't be able to dig your self out via increasing you spending. This united states of america is finished as all of us comprehend it. And specific, I do pray for this president and congress each night. on the subject of the G-20. many international locations criticized Obama on his spending, Czec chief called him an fool. It grew to become into purely aired on Fox information.

George Washington opposed political parties because he believed that they would tear the United States apart, after a civil war and over 200 years of arguing, the parties ashtound me the most not by their mud slinging additudes or extremist ideas, but by the fact that they still exist.
