Unless you are representing a huge international company and have their backing and all of the proper visas and stuff, trust your intuition. I lived there for 3 1/2 years, and the trouble you can get into is endless.

Some people have gone to Nigeria for business and ended up robbed then killed. The show '60 Minutes' warned many people years ago of these scams and the fact is that many of these scams are still going on today. Many Nigerians don't want to deal with other Nigerians because of the high incidence of these scams. You've been warned!

Business with Nigerians? You will have to be very lucky to get a honest reliable business partner. Anyway, there is nothing wrong in trying. Hope you have done this before with other people, so you have a good sense of judgment. Just be extra careful and be prepared for the worst. Who knows you may get lucky.

It depends on who you are going to meet.....also I have a friend that got trapped there in a hospital.......he was working on a site (an engineer) and came down with a very bad fever........the hospital would not take his health plan and held him captive for a week.....wouldn't take credit cards either. They would not release him until he paid cash only. Very strange I think.
But also people there are always trying to scam you for something....be careful....I'm sure you get their crazy emails.
