If she like to read, find out what she likes to read and get her a bunch of used books in that genre. Or, if she has avid interests, get her non-fiction about that. Books never grow out of date as long as someone wants to read them.
P.S. Tell her the truth - all of it that you said above. Especially the part about caring enough to want to make it special - that's the real gift.

Since you will be moving in a month how far away are you going? Perhaps your gift to her could be bringing together her friends to help her celebrate. They don’t need much to have a good time, some snick snacks and drinks and of course music… you can make it festive with decorations just by using lights and streamers… giving her the gift of Friendship is a very special gift for a 16 year old, at least it was for mine. Happy "16th" to your daughter!

I mean I know you want your daughter to have a great birthday, cause 16 and so, but if you cant do it now, get her something from the heart, a card, and if you want to throw her a party or something when you get the money, I mean she is your daughter hopefully she will understand, and love you anyway, most people are having hard times with money, so just do what you can,

Taking 5 days off constructive makes that first practice back a killer. And be careful, taking too many days off will develop the opportunity of harm once you come to practice when you consider that your body isn't used to it completely.

If you have something in the family that was passed down from generation to generation, then give her that. Or give her something of yours that she likes to borrow.
