To simply change the time, double click on the time to get the clock menu where you can change it.
However, this will get the clock to be correct for a short time since computer clocks are not known for accuracy.
If I may suggest, use one of the atomic time synchronization software to change your clock with atomic accuracy. There is an excellent piece of free software I've been using for years called Webtime. You can download it via:

Please go to Start, control panel and click on Date and Time check the date and time and then click apply. Check the time zone, is it in the correct time zone? then you can hit the Internet time (update now) Your time will be synchronized with DC. Good luck ...pcr ps: always hit apply and ok when changing stuff, ok......
