In the Eagles' song, Take It Easy", a friend of mine thought she heard "lookin' for a lover who won't blow my brother, she's so hard to find ", instead of the correct lyrics of "lookin' for a lover who won't blow my cover, she's so hard to find". She sang her lyrics at a party one night at the top of her lungs, and I can never hear the correct lyrics now! All I hear is her version!
BTW, there is a website called http://www.kissthisguy.com that has an incredible archive of mis-heard lyrics!

There's a great book on this subject; it's called "Scuse Me While I Kiss This Guy" (sorry, but can't remember the author) and it contains a bunch of misheard lyrics from all across the musical spectrum ( including more than one "yo soy perdidor" mistake!).
My favorite, however, is not in that book. There's a line from David Bowie's "Golden Years" where I -swear- he's singing "Come let out the baby" over and over. I know that can't be right, but I've never been able to find out what he -is- singing. Have you???

I thought I heard:
"Blinded by the light
Ripped up like a douche by the rover of a knight"
but it's really:
"Blinded by the light
Racked up like a deuce, another runner in the night."
Also, the "Loser" lyrics aren't "Perdito" they're "Soy un perdedor" which means "I'm a loser" in Spanish.
