Yes. America, UK, and Australia need to get out of there and deal with their own domestic issues instead.

I think in a way it is true. However the real question is why do they want to attack us at all? Many might say it is because of our allegiance to Israel. Others will say it is because of our imperialistic ways. Still others will claim it is because of our culture.
I think that the answer is a little of all of the answers above. The real reason they hate the United States is abject poverty and lack of upward mobility in their own countries. For years the United States has backed and propped up undemocratic governements in the region. Many of the rulers of these countries live in oppulence and splendor while the masses are relegated to poverty. This creates a hotbed for radical thought and ideas. Enter the Mullah's calling for rule by Shia law. The masses cannot rise up against their rulers because the U.S. will then back the rulers with arms and money. The U.S. then becomes the defacto enemy due to our support of their current leaders.
Add in the masses buying into the fanaticism of radical islam, and suddenly the freedom of our society becomes offensive to their so called morals. At the same time American culture permeates every society on earth. We offend them by simply enjoying and engaging in our freedoms. From very early on the children of these people are raised to believe the U.S. is the enemy.
With every muslim killed in Iraq or Afghanistan we create more who hate us.
Now had the U.S. engaged in a true war against terrorism and pulled out all of the stops the situation might have been different. Had we truely occupied the countries of Iraq and Afghanistan as we did at the end of World War 2 much of the fighting now taking place in those countries would have ceased. In Japan MacArthur was for all intents and purposes a king. He controlled almost every aspect of the reconstruction and guided the rebuilding of their country down to the articles of their constitution. Had the U.S. gone on a true war time footing, enacted a draft and occupied those countries with larger numbers of troops, as in WW2, the situation while becoming much more intrusive to the American population as a whole, would have had a greater chance of success. In addition this sort of action and overt dominance would have sent a clear message to other countries...Harbor terrorists and we will come into your country and take it away, tear it apart and rebuild it the way we want it to be.
Sorry for the rant, just got on a roll and I had ALOT of coffee.

Not all Muslims are terrorists, but all terrorists today are Muslims.
The Hamas and other Muslim terrorist groups have been firing hundreds of Qassam missiles at southern Israel since the summer of 2005 (when Israel left Gaza), targeting innocent Israeli citizens.. Today they were "successful" and killed one Israeli woman and seriously injured two Israeli men.
Iran has proclaimed that it wishes to destroy Israel. Nuclear weapons would give them the opportunity to do so, heaven forfend.
If Israel does indeed have a nuclear capability, it will use it only as a last resort, after a first strike by some other power.
Iran is the biggest threat to the West today, and their military capability must be curbed by the West.
The Arabs, plain and simple, are not prepared to accept the presence of a Jewish state in their midst. They are therefore using the weapon of terrorism to attempt to destroy Israel and disperse the Israelis throughout the world.
To this end they have invented the "Palestinian People." In fact, as David Basch wrote, "'Palestinians' [are an] Arab people no one heard of before 1967 before Israeli governments certified this piece of propaganda... As has been noted many times before, prior to 1948, that is before Jews had begun to call themselves Israelis, the only persons known as "Palestinians" were Jews, with the Arabs much preferring to identify themselves as part of the great Arab nation."
Ahmed Shuqeiri, later the chairman of the PLO, declared to the UN Security Council "It is common knowledge that Palestine is nothing but southern Syria."
Syrian President Hafez Assad once told PLO leader Yassir Arafat:
"You do not represent Palestine as much as we do. Never forget this one point: There is no such thing as a Palestinian People, there is no Palestinian entity, there is only Syria. You are an integral part of the Syrian people, Palestine is an integral part of Syria. Therefore it is we, the Syrian authorities, who are the true representatives of the Palestinian people."
A United Nations report released Wednesday said that hundreds of Somalian Islamic militants fought alongside the Hezbollah in Lebanon.
A United Nations spokesman confirmed the reports, but would give no further details. The report will be discussed Friday at a meeting of the UN Security Council.
The 86-page report was compiled by four UN-experts monitoring violations of a 1992 United Nations arms embargo on Somalia.
According to the report, Aden Hashi Farah, a leader of the Somalian guerilla group struggling for control in Somalia, personally recruited some 700 fighters to travel to Lebanon to fight on the Hezbollah's side.
