Sundae is right. Where on earth did the expression come from? I doubt that my mind would change at the drop of a hat unless it concealed a gun?

No, I wouldn't change my mind if a hat dropped. I drop hats all the time and I still haven't changed my mind, as of yet.

Ummm...how fast is the hat dropping? Has anyone ever tested the speed of a hat dropping vs how fast a mind can change? I was just wondering....LOL.

No i wouldn't change my mind at the drop of a hat because i am too stubborn and like to stick to my convictions. I don't think I would change my mind if a hat dropped either mainly because i have no idea what that means.

Depends on what we are talking about.

If I had made up my mind that I could juggle three hats for as long as I wanted and I dropped one after 5 minutes, then I guess that I would change my mind if a hat dropped.

Yes, if I had a choice of wearing one of two hats and the one I opted for dropped into a pile of mud, I would change my mind about wearing it.

Do you mean, "Do you change your mind at the drop of a hat?"

If so, then no.

I would have to see the hat in question before answering the question.

Yes. Yes I might.

I have no idea what this means, I hope I haven't just answered a trick question wrong...
