I think my friend who is a girl likes me. I constantly feel her staring at me and when i caught her off guard, she seems to blush and act nervous. She does subtle things like rub the side of my arm or my back. I have no idea wheter she likes me or not. A couple of weeks ago, she looked deep into my eyes as if she were trying to tell me something. I brushed it off with a cute , " What are u staring at me for?" The problem is we both go to an all girls school. I am starting to have feelings for her, but I am at a loss as to what I should do. If I tell her I like her and she doen's like me in that way, it will ruin a friendship. If I say nothing, tension will just build up. Need advice....

Ok I realise that you go to an all girls school but have you ever had a relationship with a guy or anything. Sometimes it is hard to tell if she is just a very cuddly friend or that there is something else there.
I'm going to go against the trend here and tell you not to say anything. Sometimes the tension can become to much and you either explode and have a wonderful moment or she will make the first move.
My girlfriend knew that I liked her at the time I did but I was still going out with my boyfriend. By the time where it got to the stage where we became friends and then started going to the movies etc there was so much tension. Then one day it just fizzled over and we are still together today.

I am not sure of two things here...your age and have you always been attracted to girls or is she the first? On assumption that she is your first, I'll say that you should maybe organise that the two of you can go for a milkshake or something after school hours and be alone to talk. Then, tell her that you find her to be a very affectionate person and you just wondered is she like this with everyone, or just you. In other words, you are trying to get her to confess her feelings for you first. If she really likes you in that way, I'm sure she'll use the oppurtunity to let you know. Good luck!

Ask her if she likes you in a more then friendly way. You should be able to tell whether or not by her first reaction. This way it is up in the air for further discussion. If you like her as well, like you say then you can go from there on whether you reveal this to her.

A good straight forward conversation is in order. Tell her you will both feel loads better if you chat about what's going on. Sometimes these conversations are hard to begin, so here's one I've used: "I may be hallucinating but...."

She might just want to seduce you,check you off,seeing if you have already fallen in love with her.It's hard to say.
I was one time put into your shoes,and I started the conversation with a question what do look for in a boyfriend.

I would tell her that I seem to notice that she was looking at me in a way hard to explain, could she explain it to me because I don't know if that means something good or just mean nothing special.

Is she with anybody? I would just ask her what kinda person she's into. That should lead her up to saying the kinda guy or girl she wants.

You are friends, and should feel comfortable to mentions sme things to her. Maybe talk to her about your feelings about other girls and see how she reacts. That may hep her talk to you about her feelings for you, or at least in general where you can bring it up.
