Old Magazine for Christmas present...please!!!!?

Question

My husband (newly wed!!!) is looking for a Prairie Farmer magazine from 1964. I was hoping I might be able to find it. One addition in that year featured his dad on the cover. I was hoping someone could give me some hints as to where to look for old magazines like that. I've already done the obvious...look on ebay and Prairie farmers website but no luck. please help!!

I contacted a friend at Mother Earth News and was advised that you should call or write the editor of Prairie Farmer. They do have archieves and may be able to get you a fresh copy. Go to their website and get her address or phone number. Hope it works out.

Here I looked on Froogle and there are several listed. Maybe you can contact on of the sites and see if you can locate or ask them to locate (they are the experts at finding stuff) the particular one that you are looking for.
Another suggestion would be to find an antique dealer that specializes in magazines and ask for their help.

Sounds like a magazine that would mostly be distributed in the country, so I would contact Reiman publications who publishes Country® magazine. They have a section called "can you help me?" and you write or e-mail in your request. Since their magazine is country oriented I would imagine someone would have knowledge of your request and possibly help you. Good luck!

look in a trash can . maybe someone used it to pick up their dogs poop!
