if your doctor said it it is probably true. also two lines does mean that it detected the hormone... although if you read the box i think somewhere it should tell you to read it within a time frame. really i would look for a "questions/comments" number on the box.

on every pregnancy test i have ever taken it gives specific instructions not to read the results after a certain amount of time i cant remember exactly but i think it is somewhere between 10 minutes and an hour, because a faint line will appear. It also says to read it after 3 minutes not before, and nor after.

No, only read the test in the alotted time that it says in the instructions. If you see 2 lines (in the alotted time) no matter how faint one maybe, you are pregnant.

you should read the instructions that came with you HPT but most say after 10 minutes the results may not be accurate. Why not go get another test?

Most of the ones i took (and i took a few.. out of disbelief that i was pregnant! lol) had instructions that said not to read after 10mins.
