It is called 'answers' and not hints.

39) NaNO3 + PbI2--that would be 'd' . . . and . . .
40) Double replacement 'd'.

Get an "A".

If you look at the charges of the components of the molecule, you'll find that (d) is the correct answer.

This is a double replacement reaction, with each ion ending up with a different partner.
