unfortunately stretch marks are hereditary..so if your mother was prone to them so will you. There are several things people will tell you coco butter.. it does not work..vitamin E..does not work..really the only thing you can do is drink 8 glasses of water per day.. what this does is give your skin elasticity (gives more ) the mederma really works for scars that already exist as far a surgery scares,, and even then it only takes the red or purple color out of them.. they still remain whitish in color( you can not tan your skin over the stretch marks) really only time makes the stretch marks less noticeable..

It has to do with genetics. When I was pregnant with my second child (he weighed 11.2) I gained 90 pounds, which I have since lost (after having another baby that weighed 10.12) I am Portuguese and Cherokee and have olive skin. I did not end up with stretch marks (thank GOD) My friend who is very fair complected had a baby at the same time I did, did not gain even CLOSE to what I did, and has black stretch marks up and down her stomach.

Since cellulite is a structural issue (muscle) it can be fixed with simple and unique body movements which target the cellulite areas. These types of moves can be followed by any woman, regardless of her age or fitness level. And it doesn?t matter if the cellulite started in the early teen years, or after pregnancy, or after menopause, it?s still a structural issue that results from soft, un-toned muscles underneath the saggy, dimpled, shadowy skin. As a medical researcher I don't really recommend phony lotions, painful treatments, crazy skin-brushing, useless body-wrapping or toxin-Flushing pill-scams. Check out this site if you want to know more about how to treat cellulite http://nocellulite.toptips.org
