Good quality eyeliner?

Question

I wear eyeliner everyday, and after a few hours my eyeliner either smudges really bad, or wears off. Can anyone recommend a good quality eyeliner that will last all day, that won't smudge or wear off?

I switched to Dior waterproof eyeliner and lovvvve it! I use to have problems ALL the time with smudging and it just wearing off but ive had no problems with the Dior stuff, I'll never buy another brand again! Ive even cried with it on and it still looked good! The price really isn't that bad either and the eyeliner pencil looks cute too!

After years of trying different eyeliners, my favorite is Mary Kay. It doesn't smudge, run, or smear. It stays on til I'm ready to take it off at night and lasts incredibly long for the price. The only reason I replace it every 3 months is because they say you're not supposed to keep eyeliner and mascara longer than that. something about bacteria build up or something.

Eyeliner pencil smudges because eyeliners are composed of wax, emollient oil-like binders, and pigment.

Waxy, oil-like formula + oils on your skin = breakdown of eyeliner.
it's like oil on top of oil.

Instead, u should use a liquid eyeliner or a gel eyeliner.
Both these contain volatiles (such as water or alcohol) which evaporate, leaving only the pigment behind when dry. which is why they last longer.

They are less convenient than pencils, but worth it.
Bobbi Brown and stila make gel liners, Liquid eyeliners are everywhere.

If you still insist on the pencil form, Clinique and Chanel make waterproof long-lasting eyeliner pencils which are a step better than traditional pencils.

If you can afford it, I suggest Christian Dior Eyeliner. It looks amazing...If you're on a drugstore budget go for brands like Loreal, Revlon or Almay. Personally I'd avoid the CHEAP stuff like NYC & Wet N Wild..those are the #1 brands for running eyeliner IMO.
My favorite for all-day wear is Revlon colorstay eyeliner. (in fact the whole colorstay line is great!) It has a built in sharpener and lasts ALL DAY.
In liquid eyeliner I love the maybelline all day waterproof stuff. It stays on (even at the beach) and has a felt tip for easier application.

NYX and Essence (that you'll locate at Ulta) eyeliner pencils are tremendous high quality and characteristic a tremendous fee. they arrive in a good number of colorations. I purely have 3 variety of eyeliner pencils i exploit NYX, Essence and Canmake (eastern drugstore beauty) i got here upon Essence the following in Germany, my sister found it in Ulta.

Sorry that this isn't eyeliner, but you could use the tip of a mascara brush (waterproof) as an eyeliner instead.
However, Mabelline New York is a pretty good brand.

Well, I trust American when I fly. The flight usually lasts all day, you should like that. And the flight attendants are very friendly. If you hit some turbulance, the horror of it will wear off, but it takes some time. Another good airliner is United....uh...wait....did you say "eyeliner"? Oops....my bad. .....never mind.

If you're not worried about spending a little cash, get BadGal Benefit eyeliner. It works well, very good quality, and comes in a cute little pink pencil.

My friend recommended Almay wet/dry eyeliner pencil and it is hands down my favorite eyeliner ever. Very affordable too.

okay depends on how you wear your eyeliner.
if you were it on top and want sexy smoky eyes go for liquid and always put black eyeshadow on top so the cream won't melt.
If you were on the boottom good luck. if you use pencil or roll on then i sugest the eyeshadow thing too to make it last all day but it might get kind of dirty and painful. i know it sounds ghetto but it works.
