I need help.....How do i figure out 10% of any total at a store? I FAILED algebra, not my fav subject.?

hmm..well this might be an easy fix if you have a calculator

simply multiply the total by 0.1. the answer will be 10 percent of the total.

example: 132.00 x 0.1 = 13.20 which is 10%

This isn't Algebra, einstein...Don't worry, hon, the cash rgister at the McDs will have a change calculator.....You'll never need to use those two brain cells again.

Just move the decimal point.... Therefore 10% of 5.99 = .599 or 60 cents... 10.99 = 1.099 0r 1.10... 20.65 = 2.065 .. etc.
