There was recently a demonstration in my city in the downtown core. I barely had time to read their sign when I NEARLY HIT one when they suddenly darted into the street. It actually turned my foldaway side mirror! The people were demonstrating against abortion, I don't know what caused the crowd to be so hyper active but they were running everywhere and shouting to EVERYONE driving or walking down the road. I've never seen a more "lively" crowd in my life...including punk rock concerts! What was going on here? Was this a case of "mass hysteria"????

Well, people do tend to get passionate about the killing of innocent human beings. Take a look at this, and maybe you will better understand why they were so worked up:

Yep, mass hysteria and mob mentality are the best ways to describe it.

Frankly, I think the demonstrator was the lucky one, not you...you might have dented your car, the demonstrator could have been "late-term aborted" ;-)
