I like hard rock and some heavy metal. I really don't think that pop/punk rock should be considered as types of rock. They are just harder versions of The Backstreet Boys.

i admire all track genres. i will't somewhat %.. ok. it is slightly extra straightforward. Fave to least fave. one million. Pop 2. Reggae 3. Rock 4. united states (not bluegrass or honky tonk) 5. Rap (if it is the mainstream crappy artists of right this moment)

I like Alternative and Hard rock..though it can all be lumped together as hard rock . My favorite bands are Stone Temple Pilots, Alice In Chains, Godsmack, Filter...STP though is my fav cus they can rock and then they can have this awesome melody.

I like all the sub-genres of rock but my top two are Metal & then probably Alternative.
