Gee, I don't know. I find that many people say one thing and do another, in their own lives, and then put others down for doing exactly the same thing. It makes it very difficult to figure out just what their standards are...

I find mine are higher in general. Standards are a lot lower today than when I was growing up. Nobody in particular to blame, just the way the world is going.

I don't actually have standards.

As long as someone is a good person and doesn't make me feel wierd, i'm good.

I follow instincts and emotions far more than 'standards'.

Or is that a standard in itself?

Man, i'm exhausted so i don't even know what i'm saying.

All i know is that my standards are probably lower than others because i don't have standards. At least not set standards. I prefer to just get to know people and do certain things and not set a certain limit on myself.

My standards are very high & I have a double set. The standard I hold for myself is much higher than the set I have for family and friends. Their standard is much lower. I'm working on lowering mine & raising theirs just a little until it balances out into one set for all.

My standards must be higher. That's why I have few friends. Either that, or everyone else's standards are too high for me to be included... in which case I would be rather pathetic.

My standards of what I expect from myself are higher than other people's standards of me, but I don't expect as much from others as I do from myself.

Mine tend to generally be higher. I expect a lot of myself and tend to carry that over to people I associate with.
