you people sure are stupid. you can't ever post a question here without people automatically assuming the worst of the asker and no i could care less if you think abortion is murder. idid not ask for your opinion on that topic. i asked if there are other options besides abortion or giving up your baby for adoption.

The obvious thing is to NOT have sex until you are ready to be a parent.
The best thing is to use percaution and never fail to do so. Both male and female should use percaution.
Abortion can cause problems where a woman may never be able to get pg again. Also if a person believes that a fertilized egg that has already the appearence of a human, then abortion isn't an obtion.
Giving a baby up for adoption is a great thing to do. The child gets to grow up in a home that wants them, loves them and can afford them. I adopted my daughter and she is my joy in life. I can't imagine my life without her.
Another option is that there is now a law that a baby can be left off at a hospital ER room or a Firestation or Cop station with NO questions asked. Then the baby is taken care of and found a good home

Yes, if the parent has a family member who would take the child after birth so that the mother can still be in the child's life, the parent can sign a temporary custody order, which gives the family member complete guardianship of the child and the parent can terminate the order whenever one is ready to take over again. The termination as well as the order are effective immediately. For temporary custody the parent signs a document that has the name of child, child's date of birth, the parents name, parents address and phone, parents ssn, and states the name of the person who will be having custody of the child, and states that the parent "Hereby gives temporary custody to '' '' of '' '' born '' ''. Date the document and then sign in front of a notary and get it notarized. The termination does not have to be notarized, but the paper must be kept for purposes of termination.

Keeping it is the only other option...If the mom doesnt want to keep the baby, maybe the dad will. Adoption if she is to far along is the best option if she/he do not want the baby. There are plenty of couples looking to adopt...Or if she is not to faralong, then she can opt for an abortion, wouldnt be my choice personally but its not me thats pregnant.....

The parents might have a relative willing to take the child in for them but they would probably want to adopt it.
As far as I know there are only few options once you are pregnant, keep it, abort it, or give it up for adoption.

If you discover one, I'd like to know. (short of throwing it in a trash can, which happens A LOT) (not being supportive of the trash can thing AT ALL, just saying)

Correction to Sara D, not all states have this law, check locally before trying this, in some states, you can still be charged with abandonment. Actually the trash can thing is how this law got started!

Yeah, it called owning up to what has happened and raise the baby yourself. Not to be mean. But I would suggest adoption over abortion. Not a murderer here. There are plenty of people who would love to adopt.

no not really...and abortion, thats not even an option! its murder and its wrong, adoption maybe so im sure theres some loving parents out there, but u knwo whnat the most responsible thing to do...keep your baby, raise it, and let it grow up, its something you wont regret, adoption is good for someone who is struggling, with no money and who cant support themselves let alone another baby, abortion, abortion you'll regret for the rest of your life!

Well..... the only other option is putting the baby in a plastic bag after its born like some stupid teenage girls do...
but I dont suggest that.... unless you have no heart and are just a cruel person who wants to spend many years in jail.
