You rent an atv vehicle that has 5/8 of a tank of gas. when you are done riding, there is 3/8 of a tank left. write a verble phrase model to represent the fraction of a tank of fuel you used. then write and solve an algebraic model.

3/8 + x = 5/8 ... Subtract 3/8 from both sides ...
x = 2/8 = 1/4
