I'm about to install windows 2003 sbs and can't figure out what kind of CALs to use...the server is just a file server with 6 clients accessing it....i don't know if I should use the per device license or the per server license? Any suggestions?

You sure you don't mean per device or per user? Unless you have multiple servers, or some kind of special setup (such as many people using the same computer), you're almost always better off with a per-user licensing scheme. With SBS 2003, per server would be ridiculous.
