I have a bump in my pubic area i think it may be from shaving because i do shave my vagina but my hair has grown back and the bump has appeared. I'm a virgin and have not really been involved sexually. Should i be worried. I'm a teenager so is this just one of those things that every girl gets growing up

it sounds like to me that you might have a boil. the only way to get rid of it is for your doctor to pop it. they can do it a certain way so that is gets all the puss out. usually boils are from not cleaning your area good, in your case it could be cause you use your razor for different things other than you vaginal area. it will bleed a lot and your doctor will probably prescribe getting girl boxers so it isnt tight on the boil. this happend to my sister. it might not be a boil but i cant think of any thing else, well good luck!

You get the ones little purple bumps in view that your epidermis down there may be so touchy, whether or not you reduce your self or now not. It's like little one epidermis. Also pubic hair is most often coarse, so your razor simply is not constructed to manage it. I'll let you know now that I have attempted BikiniZone, which claims to "immediately eliminate razor bumps and redness", and all it did for me used to be burn WORSE. It's a waste of cash and it does not paintings! Use neosporin alternatively to eliminate the burning feeling. Razor bumps are a soreness within the *** to eliminate and it might take as much as every week for them to depart. Once they're long gone, here is what you do: The very satisfactory factor you'll do is purchase Aveeno Positively Smooth Lotion. Most persons use it for his or her legs however should you placed it in your pubic hair daily for every week(allow it develop out) the hair will come to be very gentle. Now the hair will shave off easily and not using a bumps or redness left at the back of. Trust me, this works! Your choice is to WAX IT

I don't think you should be worried - shaving in sensitive areas can produce bumps of various sorts, and of course, despite what you may hear - you can get a zit/acne anywhere, anytime - kinda sucky thing about growing up really... some of us - the acne pops up every so often long after the teens.

Oh - and it might be an ingrown hair - rare, kinda like a zit, but more common if the razor is dull.

If its a bump like a mole or wart - talk to mom about a visit to the doctor... New moles or warts should always be checked.

Scary, but probably just a pimple! You can pop it GENTLY(cover your fingers with tissue) and then there will be some fluid and should clear up on its own, If it gets sore, go and see your community nurse, try to wear loose clothing for now. Always wear cotton panties. STOP SHAVING this will only irritate you and is not a grown up thing to do (if you do do it, do it when you're older). Shaving will irritate the hair follicles subcutaneously. Puberty is a difficult time. Do go to see a female nurse you can trust and get some help and advice.

sounds like a ingrown hair. stop shaving because if you nic the bump it will hurt. Just use a warm wash cloth to bring it to a head and the hair can come from under the skin. It will take some time but it happens to everyone

Sounds like a pimple or an ingrown hair due to shaving. That has happened to me before....no worries. You will be OK. If you see the little hair pull it out with tweezers.
