When he is able to drink whole milk and not formula. It may be worth waiting until he likes the taste of plain milk first, otherwise he may like the chocolate taste too much and only drink his milk with Ovaltine. Good luck!

I'd wait until at least 2. He could drink it at 1... but, then he might like that taste more than regular milk and refuse the regular milk.

You have this question under Newborn & Baby, Is your son still on formula, or on regular milk...that would help his age. If he's on formula,,,,I wouldnt add anything without his doctors consent. If on regular milk, I dont see why he cant have it.
