if you put it in the washing machine in all really hot water it shouold work thats what i do. i hope i helped

Wash it in HOT water, and then dry it on the regular setting (not for delicates or low heat). If that doesn't work....by a smaller size! Wife-beaters are cheap! It might not shrink too much since you've repeatedly washed it, though.

Ultimately, you won't shrink it more than ~5% though!

Clothes have a tendency to shrink down only one size, not that dramatic stuff that is portrayed on television.

You could bring it in to a tailer shop and have the man/woman make it your sixe or u can trim it yourself if u know how.

you said "shrink" ..and you are not thinking -- that in the pysical world of ours -- nothing but nothing disappears to infinity. your xl included. the advice -- exchange it in a salvation army depot. or better give it away -- the holidays are coming.
